Hampstead Norreys is a vibrant and welcoming village with a thriving community shop, school, pub and recreational area, which includes our village hall. Our appearance in the final of the 2018 Village of the Year competition illustrates how active our residents are and the range of activities and events that take place within our village. The Parish Council are committed to ensuring that they help maintain the well-being and appearance of the village and work hard to ensure that facilities and groups are supported throughout the village. The Parish Council holds responsibility for the Dean Meadow and playground and also supports the maintenance of the Churchyard and the cricket pitch. There is also continuing support for the Village Hall, including its planned expansion.

This autumn, we’re asking residents to check and cut back any overhanging vegetation from their property to keep pavements, signage, and roads clear. A little seasonal upkeep helps keep Hampstead Norreys safe, tidy, and accessible for all.
Details of the road closure on the B4009 from 10-13 September 2025 between 19:00-05:00.
As summer growth continues, we kindly ask all residents to help keep roadside verges and pavements clear. Overgrown vegetation can obstruct sight lines for drivers and force pedestrians - especially children and those with mobility needs - onto the road.
