๐ฟ Help Keep Hampstead Norreys Safe and Accessible ๐ฟ
As summer growth continues, we kindly ask all residents to help keep roadside verges and pavements clear. Overgrown vegetation can obstruct sight lines for drivers and force pedestrians - especially children and those with mobility needs - onto the road.

๐ถโโ๏ธโ๏ธ If youโre responsible for a verge or hedge bordering a public path or road, please ensure itโs cut back enough to allow safe passage and clear visibility.
๐๏ธ Important note on hedge cutting: Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, hedge trimming is generally discouraged between 1 March and 31 August to protect nesting birds. If you need to cut a hedge during this time, please check carefully for active nests and delay trimming if any are found.
Letโs work together to keep our village safe, walkable, and wildlife-friendly. Thank you for your care and cooperation!
