New Water Fountain Installed at the Recreation Ground
Following feedback from village secondary‑school students, the Parish Council has installed a new drinking water fountain at the recreation ground. It is now in place and available for young people and all visitors to use.

As part of engagement with students from The Downs School who are residents of the village, the Parish Council sought their views on how community facilities could be improved. A drinking water fountain in the recreation ground was one of the suggestions put forward.
The Parish Council has now installed a new water fountain in the Recreation Ground, providing easy access to drinking water for young people and other visitors. We are grateful to the students for their input and hope the new facility will be of benefit to the whole community.
