Church Street Safety Surveys – We Need Your Input
Help us make Church Street safer for children and hedgehogs. West Berkshire Council has requested local evidence to support new warning signs - complete our short surveys to share your observations and strengthen the case.

Hampstead Norreys Parish Council is exploring the installation of two new warning signs on Church Street: one for Children Crossing and one for Hedgehogs Crossing. These signs aim to improve road safety and protect both our young residents and local wildlife.
To support this request, we need to gather evidence about how often children and hedgehogs cross Church Street. Weβve created two short surveys:
- π§ Children Crossing Survey β for parents and guardians only, to tell us about the children in your care who use Church Street.
- π¦ Hedgehog Sightings Survey β for anyone who has seen hedgehogs crossing Church Street.
Youβre welcome to complete one or both surveys. The more responses we receive, the stronger our case will be when working with highways authorities.
