Once again, West Berkshire Libraries are challenging primary-age children to read up to six library books between 1 July and 15 September. Children will receive FREE incentives for their achievements, including medals and certificates for completing the Challenge.
This year’s theme, developed by national charity The Reading Agency, is Story Garden a celebration of nature and storytelling designed to keep children reading all summer long.
There’s also a Mini Challenge for pre-school children and plenty on offer for teens and grown-ups too. Just drop into your local library to take part and see what’s on!
Libraries will be hosting a variety of family and children’s events throughout the summer. Residents can find details and book events here: https://booking.westberks.gov.uk/library_events.html
